What bankroll.fyi Is

bankroll.fyi is a personal analytics and bookkeeping tool for people who gamble recreationally or professionally — poker players, sports bettors, and casino players. You log sessions you have already played and we help you understand the numbers.

bankroll.fyi is not a sportsbook, casino, poker room, exchange, prediction market, or gambling operator of any kind. We never handle money intended for wagers, never accept bets, never pay out winnings, and never facilitate gambling transactions between users or third parties. Payments you make to us are for access to the software only.

bankroll.fyi is operated by Third Index (thirdindex.co). Charges on your card statement may appear as “Third Index” or “THIRD INDEX LLC”.

Beta Service

bankroll.fyi is currently in beta and is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice as we iterate on the product.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use bankroll.fyi, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction — whichever is greater. You are solely responsible for ensuring that gambling and gambling-related activities are legal where you live, and for complying with all applicable laws, including tax laws, in your jurisdiction.

Not Advice

Nothing in bankroll.fyi — including dashboards, insights, goal tracking, tax summaries, AI assistant output, or built-in tools such as equity calculators and preflop ranges — constitutes financial, tax, legal, medical, or gambling advice. The software is an informational and record-keeping aid. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use bankroll.fyi only for lawful personal bankroll tracking and analytics. You will not:

  • attempt to abuse, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service;
  • use the service to facilitate, advertise, or process wagers or payouts on behalf of others;
  • use the service for money laundering, fraud, or any unlawful purpose;
  • access the service using automated scripts, scrapers, or bots except where we explicitly provide an API for that purpose;
  • circumvent rate limits or plan entitlements, or share a single account among multiple people;
  • attempt to access other users’ data, or interfere with any other user’s use of the service;
  • upload content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes on any third party’s rights.

Plan Limits & AI Fair Use

Free and Pro accounts may both log unlimited session entries with custom sources, venues, and events. Pro accounts additionally include AI Assist (up to 100 requests per day, reset daily at midnight UTC), the full insights dashboard (ROI, win rate, hourly rate, variance, streaks, P&L calendar, day-of-week breakdown, poker and tournament insights), the tax report and CSV export, and goals and limits. Your current usage is shown in Settings. These limits are subject to change as we tune the service; we’ll give reasonable notice before materially reducing them.

AI usage is subject to fair-use limits to keep the service sustainable. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke AI access for accounts that exceed reasonable per-user limits, generate artificial load, attempt prompt injection against other users’ data, or use the assistant to generate content unrelated to bankroll tracking.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, abused the service or its AI features, placed the service or other users at risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Accounts terminated for abuse may have their data deleted without a prior export opportunity. You may close your own account at any time from the Settings page.

Your Data & Retention

You retain ownership of the session data, notes, and other content you log. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the service for you.

While we make reasonable efforts to preserve your data, we cannot guarantee against data loss during the beta period. Backups, migrations, infrastructure failures, and human error can all result in partial or total data loss. We recommend exporting your data periodically via the CSV export available on every plan and keeping your own records of anything important to you.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your session data and profile within 30 days. Anonymized or aggregate data that cannot be traced back to you, and records we are legally required to retain (for example, payment records required for tax or anti-fraud purposes), may be kept beyond that window.

Privacy — What We Collect

We collect only what we need to operate the service:

  • Account data: email address and authentication credentials.
  • Session content: entries, notes, settings, goals, and preferences you log.
  • Payment metadata: plan, subscription status, and Stripe customer ID. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that.
  • Operational logs: request logs, error traces, and AI usage counters, retained only as long as needed for reliability and abuse prevention.

We do not connect to your bank, your sportsbooks, or any third-party financial account. We do not scrape, and we do not place ad trackers or behavioral pixels on the site. We do not sell personal data.

Subprocessors

We rely on a small number of reputable third parties to run the service. Your data may be processed by:

  • Supabase— authentication, database, and hosting.
  • Vercel— web hosting and edge delivery.
  • Stripe— payment processing for paid plans.
  • Anthropic— the AI model (Claude) that powers AI Assist on Pro plans. Prompts and responses are sent to Anthropic only when you use AI features, and per Anthropic’s API terms, your content is not used to train their models.

Payments & Refunds

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain Pro access until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, email us at support@bankroll.fyi.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bankroll.fyi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, gambling winnings, revenue, or goodwill, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless bankroll.fyi and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or damage — including reasonable attorneys’ fees — arising out of your use of the service, your gambling activity, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of bankroll.fyi after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
